Kredo Bank gets 17% rise in deposit portfolio

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of January 1, 2013, Azerbaijan-based Kredo Bank’s assets stood at AZN 98.768 mln, up 9.3% from a year earlier.

Bank says loan portfolio rose 3.4% to AZN 81.513 mln, including consumer lending made AZN 15.554 mln, up 7.2% compared with a year earlier. At the same time, overdue credits surged 1.9 times to AZN 21.006 mln. Share of overdue credits in loan portfolio soared 11.7 percentage points to 25.7%.

Deposit portfolio grew 17.4% to AZN 16.216 mln, as well as personal savings made AZN 14.945 mln, up 8.7% from 2012.

Total capital advanced 32.2% to AZN 29.840 mln, including authorized capital went 34.1% up to settle at AZN 27.540 mln.

Total clients’ number rose 9.3% to 30,992, as well as individuals – 9.9% to 27,966, legal entities – 4.0% to 3,026. Number of plastic cards was equal to 358, down 7.7% for annual comparison. Debit cards increased 0.6% to 322, credit cards dropped 1.9 times to 36.

For the present, the bank operates 16 branches, 6 ATMs and 70 POS-terminals across the country. Besides, the bank has 191 employees.
