Gunay Bank gets 25% rise in loan portfolio year-on-year

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of January 1, 2013, Azerbaijan-based Gunay Bank’s assets stood at AZN 36.629 mln, down 2.5% compared wit a year earlier.

Bank says loan portfolio soared 25.4% to AZN 33.567 mln.

Deposit portfolio grew 9.6% to AZN 10.287 mln, including personal savings were equal to AZN 9.550 mln, up 19.4% from previous year.

Total capital dropped 6.6% to AZN 11.329 mln, as well as authorized capital remained unchanged at AZN 13.024 mln.

Number of total clients surged 7.1% to 1,490, including individuals increased by 8.7% to 1,135, legal – 2.3% to 355. Number of plastic cards reached 46, down by 2.5 times in annual comparison. All cards are debits.

At present, the bank operates 1 branch, 1 ATMs, 4 POS-terminals across the country. Bank has 39 staffs and average monthly salary is AZN 440.
