EUROSAI and ARABOSAI to hold IV joint conference in Baku tomorrow

Baku – APA-Economics. On April 16-18, two regional associations of higher state audit bodies EUROSAI and ARABOSAI will hold the IV joint conference in Baku, the Accounts Chamber told APA-Economics.

The international event will bring together 5 international and regional organizations of different countries, over 100 representatives from 44 countries, as well as presidents and secretary generals of EUROSAI and ARABOSAI, secretary general of AFROSAI organization.

The conference will be held on the theme "Modern challenges for Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) capacity building” as a main theme, as well as on the following three sub-themes (Sub-theme 1: Responsibilities of Supreme Pub-lic Authorities arising from the challenges of UN General Assembly Resolution A/66/209, 22 December 2011; Sub-theme 2: Role of SAIs in achieving national de-velopment goals; Sub-theme 3: Importance of specifying the boundaries and targets of external and internal public financial control in improving public financial management).
