‘Inflation level is too low in Azerbaijan this year. As accounting rate is connected with inflation, taking long-term inflation trend into consideration, the CBA made a decision on correction of accounting rate’, noted Rustamov.
CBA head added that at present time, interest rates on loans and deposits go down at commercial banks in the country and it is connected with the inflation trend: ‘In case the inflation trend continues, new decision on reduction of accounting rate can be made again next year, too.
