According to him, the agency uses only methods in the legislation: “We only meet our clients’ demand within the legislation. Our function consists of getting information about legal cases, finding debtors through different state bodies and etc.”.
Mustafayev noted that existing legislation allows collection agencies functioning effectively.
Explaining the repayment process, Mustafayev said that they firstly call that person’s home and inform him about it, require to repay the debt: “If it does not help, we send letter to his/her job”.
If this method does not help, we sue him/her: “Following court’s relevant decision, we go to his/her home or job with employees of Executive Office of the Ministry of Justice, remind him/her about debt and require him/her to fulfill the decision”.
He also noted that they do not use pressure.
Some debtors repay the debt after first call. Sometimes, it is difficult to find the debtor. He/she can not be in the country. After, court’s decision, leaving of that person Azerbaijan can be prohibited to prevent such cases. According to practice, the most effective method for repayment of debts is to prohibit leaving the country.
He also said that new methods are searched: “We are working on it. Even, we have additional employers for this purpose”.
