‘Finally, we could agree this program with all relevant ministries’, he said.
Rustamov noted that payment systems and cashless payments assume great importance. To him, payment system infrastructure has already been established in Azerbaijan and this system will be further developed.
‘We all, including the Taxes Ministry and other organizations think that a turning point must be achieved in this sphere. This is both a significant economic and social matter. If we achieve it, assets, resources and potential of banking sector can be doubled. It would open wide opportunities for both population and business lending. I think that we will gain it in phases through active management’, added Rustamov.
