Bank Standard gets 24% rise in deposit portfolio

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of January 1, 2013, Azerbaijan-based Bank Standard’s assets stood at AZN 799,353 mln, up 16.0% from year earlier.

Bank says the loan portfolio rose 29.3% to AZN 574.681 mln, as well as consumer lending made AZN 139.919 mln, up 54.0% from 2012.

Deposit portfolio soared 23.9% to AZN 538.966 mln. Personal savings were equal to AZN 451.263 mln, up 21.0% from previous year.

Authorized capital remained unchanged at AZN 75 mln.

Number of clients rose 46.6% to 174,828, including individuals surged 47.2% to 171,532, legal entities – 21.7% to 3,296. Plastic cards made 42,507, up 26.5% in comparison to a year earlier. Debit cards increased 19.3% to 26,450, credit cards – 40.5% to 16,057.

At present, the bank operates 17 branches, 146 ATMs and 1,882 POS-terminals.
