Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. On December 7, the first National Forum of Insurance Agents will be held by State Insurance Supervisory Centre jointly with Azerbaijan Insurers Association. According to Association, main purpose of the Forum is to discuss the problems in the activities of insurance agents and their elimination, as well as regulation of agents’ activities.
After the law on “compulsory insurances” came into force, need for activities of the insurance agents increased. In accordance with the requirements of insurance legislation, number of persons obtained license to operate as insurance agent exceeded 400.
High-ranked persons of SISC and Compulsory Insurance Bureau, representatives of insurers and insurance agents will make speeches in the forum. Discussions on “Insurance agent’s activity: problems and perspectives” will be held at the event.
