Azerpocht LLC intends to have 5%-equity in bank sector

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Azerpocht LLC intends to have 5%-equity in bank sector, said the head of postal communications department at the Azerbaijani Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies Novruz Mammadov.

According to him, 43 banks operate in Azerbaijan and it’s difficult to compete with them.

Mammadov noted that for the present, Azerpocht cooperates with YapiKredi Bank Azerbaijan and Unibank: “we will install more 10 ATMs and 50 POS-terminals in the near future”.
