Azerbaijani Parliament approves state budget for 2013

FinMinister Samir Sharifov said that some amendments were made to the draft budget under proposals of MPs. That is, the amount of funds, allocated for improvement of logistical and medical support of health facilities, as well as special-purpose health centers, has been increased up to AZN 3 mln.

Besides, by taking proposals of MPs on increasing the funds assigned for political parties into account, it is considered to increase the amount by additional AZN 500,000 up to AZN 2.5 mln.

Moreover, the Parliament considered acceptable to allocate extra AZN 726,000 for budget expenses. Taking the increase of incomes of off-budget organizations for the incomes considered in the activities and penalties as a result of the off-budget activity of budget organizations into consideration, additional AZN 35 mln will be allocated to improve logistics and increase the salaries of these organizations.

Due to these changes, state budget’s revenues and expenditures have changed. That is, budget revenues have been lifted by AZN 5 mln up to AZN 19.159 bn, expenditures – increased by AZN 40 mln up to AZN 19.850 bn. Budget deficit has been increased by AZN 35 mln up to AZN 690 mln.
