Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. State Statistical Committee says that the legal and individuals traded with partners in 95 countries in January, 2013.
SSC says foreign trade turnover made $ 3.5 bln, which $ 2.9 bln of this was import, $ 0.6 bln – export. Consequently, positive balance made $ 2.3 bln.
The foreign trade turnover rose 40%, as well as export operations rose 52.6%, import decreased by 14.3%. Positive balance soared by 92% compared to a year ago.
Export of non-oil products made $ 113.7 mln.
2/3 of foreign trade operations were conducted with Italy, Russia, Turkey, US, Great Britain, India, Thailand, Austria and Portugal.
