At the same time, positive balance was observed in direct investments on ol gas sector. So, the direct investments involved in oil gas sector of Azerbaijan in 2012 made $4,290.1 mln, Azerbaijan’s investments in oil gas sector of foreign countries - $ 4,090.3 bln. Consequently, positive balance stood at $ 199.8 mln.
Note that compared with 2011, the direct investments involved in oil gas sector of Azerbaijan rose 23.8%, Azerbaijan’s investments in oil gas sector of foreign countries – 26.0%, positive balance dropped 8.5%.
