Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. In January 2013, consumer prices and service tariffs climbed 1.2% compared to previous year. Moreover, prices of food products rose 0.6%, price of non-food products – by 0.1% and service tariffs soared 3%.
According to the State Statistical Committee, compared to 2012, in January of current year, consumer prices climbed 0.8%, as well as prices of non-food products – 0.5%, service tariffs – 3.4%, whereas prices of food products dropped 0.6%.
Note that, in January of 2012, inflation made 4.8% in the country.
