Amrahbank sees 33% rise in assets year-on-year

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of January 1, 2013, Azerbaijan-based Amrahbank’s assets stood at AZN 113,040 mln, up 32.8% from previous year.

Bank says loan portfolio rose 52.0% to AZN 76,617 mln, including consumer lending soared 48.1% to AZN 47,656 mln.

Deposit portfolio increased by 28.0% to AZN 72.219 mln, as well as personal savings were equal to AZN 43,926 mln, up 19.3% from a year earlier.

Total capital surged 23.2% to AZN 25.949 mln, including authorized capital grew 17.0% to AZN 17,256 mln.

Number of clients raised 39.8% to 36,682, as well as individuals rose 40.7% to 35,769, legal entities – 11.8% to 913. Besides, number of plastic cards made 3,586, down 2.6% from a year ago. At the same time, debit cards dropped 17.6% to 2,837, credit cards surged 3.1 times to 749.

For present, the bank operates 19 branches, 22 ATMs and 538 POS-terminals across the country.
