Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. The total amount of transactions on current transfers with foreign countries made AZN $ 3,956.3 mln, during 2012.
Central Bank of Azerbaijan says that 49.4% or $ 1,953.13 mln of this is receipts, $ 2,003.13 mln or 50.6% - transfers from the country.
So, for the first time, $50.0 mln-negative balance was formed on current transfers. For comparison to a year earlier, $ 673.3 mln-positive balance was observed. Note that, transfers to the country rose 3.8%, from country – 65.7%.
94.8% of total premiums on current transfer are money orders which transferred to individual persons from abroad, 1.7% imported humanitarian goods, 3.5% other premiums.
