15 companies prepare for IPO in Azerbaijan

To him, 3 of them can already realize initial public offering. Committee chairman noted that the organization supports the development of non-financial corporations.

Aslanli says next step after conduction of IPO at BSE next year will be establishment of cooperation with London Stock Exchange in this sphere. The committee and BSE have already discussed the details of cooperation with LSE. Azerbaijani side offered the depositary receipts to put up to sale at LSE too. For this purpose LSE accepts conditions of Azerbaijani market on it.

According to Aslanli, BSE had several events with LSE and the cooperation opportunities of BSE and LSE were introduced to potential investors and participants at these events. The cooperation proposals with foreign organizations in this sphere were usually declarative due to relevant institutions in Azerbaijan were not at necessary level: ‘We can surely say that our institutional opportunities allow us to cooperate with even LSE’.

Committee chairman noted that SCS has cooperation links almost with all the large exchanges of the world and this is the result of Azerbaijan’s development and stability observed in the economy of Azerbaijan in the condition of global non-stability.
