In January-May of the current year, the volume of Azerbaijani trade turnover with CIS countries amounted to $ 1 703 746,57 thousand and this is 12.4 % more compared to the same period of the previous year, APA-Economics reports citing State Customs Committee.
During the reporting period, the volume of export increased by 2.6 % amounted to $ 447 218,59 thousand and the import increased by 16.3 % amounted to $ 1 256 527,98 thousand compared to the same period of the previous year.
In January-May of the current year, there was a negative trade balance of $ 809 309,39 thousand and it is 25.5% more than compared to the same period of 2018.
