A fintech forum dedicated to expanding cooperation among Turkic states in the field of financial technologies is being held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
The event, organized with the participation of the Turkish Ministry of Trade and the Turkic States Fintech Alliance (TURKFIN), is attended by representatives of the financial and banking sectors of Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Vusal Khalilov, President of the Azerbaijan Banks Association Zakir Nuriyev, and other officials are expected to deliver speeches at the opening of the forum.
The event will feature discussions on the future of digital payments, common regulatory approaches, next-generation payment technologies, and opportunities for regional cooperation.
Bilateral business meetings (B2B) between companies will be held at the end of the forum.
