In January–September of this year, agricultural products worth AZN 11 billion 905.3 million were produced in Azerbaijan at current prices, APA-Economics reports, citing the State Statistical Committee.
The physical volume of production increased by 1.1% compared to the same period last year.
Livestock production increased by 1.9%, while crop production rose by 0.5%.
Crop production accounted for 51% of total agricultural output, while livestock production made up 49%.
The growth rate, which stood at 2.6% in January–August, declined to 1.1% by the end of September. The growth rate in crop production decreased from 3.1% to 0.5%, while in livestock production it fell from 2% to 1.9%.
