Baku. Nicat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Happenings in Georgia may affect on the GDP growth rate in Azerbaijan, said the Minister of Economic Development Heydar Babayev.
He added that Azerbaijan’s GDP is mostly driven by oil sector.
“The recent developments in Georgia caused some problems for Azerbaijan. Oil production was slowed down. This may change the outlook for GDP growth. Anyway, I hope the dispute will be solved soon and we will not need to change our forecasts,†he underlined.
He noted that Georgian crisis has not caused price rise in Azerbaijan.
