Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has commented on the Kremlin’s persistent invitations for him to come to Moscow for talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, APA reports, citing Ukrainskaya Pravda.
“Of course, it is impossible for me to meet Putin in Moscow. I can invite him to Kyiv as well — let him come. Of course, if he decides, I openly invite him,” Zelenskyy said during a conversation with journalists.
Zelenskyy emphasized that any realistic format for a leaders’ meeting would suit the Ukrainian side: “I don’t know what outcome it will bring. But at least it is something bigger than what is happening today.”
