Baku – APA. Speaking to the crowd in Konya, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday blasted US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's comments that she would consider arming Syrian Kurdish fighters, according to Turkey’s NTV channel.
“I’m saddened by her statement. Who is your NATO partner? The PKK, PYD, YPG, or Turkey? If it’s Turkey, then you have to sit at the same table alongside Turkey and take coordinated steps,” said Erdogan. “If it’s the terrorist organizations that you’re fighting, we can cooperate. But under the guise of countering ISIL, they actually have a different plan for Syria and Iraq.”
