Armenia invited to ErdoÄŸanâ€™s inauguration ceremony

Baku. Anakhanum Hidayatova –APA. Armenia is invited to the inauguration of newly elected president of Turkey Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan.

President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan said this while answering the questions of participants of the "Miasin-2014"forum, APA reports quoting Armenia Today.

According to him, Armenia is likely to take part in the ceremony at the level of foreign ministers.

“Our foreign minister will try to learn whether the Turkish president would take part in the ceremony to be held next year on April 24 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide Commemoration”, Serzh Sargysan stressed.

When asked about the opening of the Armenian-Turkish border, Sargsyan said that it’s hard to say when it would be possible. He added that the Armenian side would like it to happen as early as possible.
