Baku-APA. A spill of toxic liquid in the main postal terminal of Helsinki caused 12 people to suffer breathing difficulties on Thursday afternoon, APA reports quoting Xinhua.
According to the rescue department, a truck crashed into a hundred-liter plastic container, and the resin-based liquid spilled out over the courtyard of the postal terminal.
Twenty-four people were exposed to the toxic liquid, and 12 of them experienced breathing difficulties and were sent to hospital.
Jukka Sauramaki, regional director of Posti Group, which owns the terminal, said about 100 people were evacuated from the terminal after the accident happened.
The rescue department absorbed the liquid and workers at cleaned the floor and ventilated the place. Enditem
