Kyiv has received a proposed US deal to use Ukrainian rare-earth minerals, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at a news conference following a meeting with visiting US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.
"I know that our team has been handed the first draft of the document from the United States of America on the partnership between our countries," he said. "We received this document today. We will study it and do everything so that our teams can indeed very quickly reach an agreement and sign this document."
Zelenskyy expressed hope that the agreement would be signed at or before the Munich Security Conference, which will take place from February 14-16.
"We do not want to waste time," he said.
