The Armed Forces of Ukraine have started using cluster munitions provided by the United States, APA reports citing The Washington Post.
"Ukraine has begun firing U.S.-provided cluster munitions against Russian forces in southeastern Ukraine in a push to break up well-fortified Russian positions that have slowed Ukraine’s summer offensive, according to Ukrainian officials," says the source.
An Ukrainian official told "The Washington Post" that these munitions are used against Russian positions that slowed down the activities of Ukrainian forces trying to retake the territories.
