Ukrainian Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov has said at a briefing with his German counterpart Boris Pistorius, that Kyiv already has missiles with a range similar to that of German-made Taurus missiles, Interfax-Ukraine, a Ukrainian news agency reports.
"As regards Taurus, of course, we already have missiles that operate at a similar distance and even longer. But there can never be too few such strike capabilities," Mykhailo Fedorov said.
Fedorov added that Ukraine is always open to having more strike capabilities:
"In fact, today we are already gaining a certain independence in this area. We have all seen strikes on Russia at a distance of 1,500 km. So Ukraine is doing its homework well."
