A meeting of the Türkiye–Armenia Working Group on the restoration of the Gyumri–Kars railway has been held, said the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye and Armenia, APA reports.
According to the information, in line with the agreements reached within the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Türkiye, a meeting of the joint Armenian-Turkish working group on the restoration and operation of the Gyumri–Kars railway was held in the city of Kars on April 28.
During the meeting, the sides emphasized the importance of putting the Gyumri–Kars railway line into operation as soon as possible in the context of expanding transport communications in the region.
