Eren, the world’s first laser-armed drone, has been tested in Turkey. The device made successful shots from distances of 500, 300 and 100 meters, APA reports citing Anadolu Agency.

“The Eren drone, developed by the defense companies TÜBİTAK and ASİSGUARD, coordinated by the Forensic Department of the General Directorate of Security, is capable of neutralizing explosive elements at a distance using laser weapons … The maximum flight altitude of Eren is 3,000 meters,” the statement said.

It is indicated that the Eren drone is designed to destroy explosive devices with laser weapons without the involvement of sappers.

We will remind, the Bloomberg agency reported that in the near future Turkey will supply 24 more Bayraktar drone drone to Ukraine.

In turn, Turkey said that the supply of combat UAVs to Ukraine is not associated with the increase in tension in the Donbass.

Earlier, the head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, in a conversation with the President of Turkey in a conversation with Recep Tayyip Erdogan, recalled Bayraktar. “The need was emphasized for Kiev to abandon any attempts to forcefully influence the Donbass,” they said in Moscow.
