US President Donald Trump announced that he had agreed to a ceasefire in Lebanon with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the leadership of Hezbollah, APA reports.
"I had a very productive conversation with Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu, and troops will not be sent to Beirut. And all troops en route have already been deployed. Likewise, through high-level representatives, I had a very good conversation with Hezbollah, and they agreed that all shooting will cease. The Israelis will not attack them, and they will not attack Israel," the head of the US administration wrote on his page on Truth Social.
