"The European Commission must disclose to the public the information regarding its ties with the pharmaceutical company 'Pfizer', which made billions of dollars from vaccines intended for COVID-19, under the leadership of Ursula von der Leyen," Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó wrote on his X account while commenting on the European Court of Justice's ruling on the head of the European Commission, APA reports.
"Ursula von der Leyen lectures us on transparency while hiding her shady Pfizer deals. We call on the EU Commission to respect the ECJ ruling and publish the messages on the vaccine purchase. Why were vaccines delayed? Why did Europe overpay? Enough with the excuses. We want answers."
Note that the court panel found Ursula von der Leyen guilty of concealing information regarding the $30 billion vaccine deal signed between 2021 and 2023, and demanded that the European Commission make public both that information and the correspondence between Ursula von der Leyen and the CEO of the aforementioned company, Albert Bourla.
