The UK Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff, Morgan McSweeney, could be dismissed from his position over the scandal surrounding American financier Jeffrey Epstein, who is accused of pedophilia, the i newspaper (part of the Daily Mail and General Trust media group) reported, citing sources, APA reports.
According to the newspaper, McSweeney may come under pressure due to Peter Mandelson’s appointment as the UK Ambassador to the United States.
Note that the US Department of Justice has published all documents from the Epstein case files, which have led to new revelations about Mandelson’s close friendship with the businessman.
