An Azerbaijani song was presented in the 9th season of the Ranina children's contest broadcast on Georgia's First Channel, APA's local bureau reports.
In the third stage of the contest, 10-year-old participant Zurab Naskidashvili performed the song "Şən Azərbaycan" ("Happy Azerbaijan") from the repertoire of People's Artist of Azerbaijan Polad Bulbuloglu.
The performance in Azerbaijani was met with applause. All members of the jury evaluated the performance with 10 points in all indicators.
Note that performers aged 8 to 14 compete in the Ranina vocal contest. In one stage of the contest, participants perform popular songs from foreign countries. The winner of the contest will receive the right to represent Georgia at this year's “Eurovision” Junior Song Contest.
