Serbian police issued a final warning before the use of force urging protesters in central Belgrade to stop provocations against the republic’s law enforcers, the Serbian Interior Ministry said in a press release, APA reports citing Reuters.
"The police issue a final warning that all attacks and provocations against police officers must stop immediately, otherwise the police will have to interfere and protect their employees in accordance with the law," the press release reads.
Some of the protesters have attempted to provoke policemen by throwing firecrackers and bottles at them.
