Russia has violated the ceasefire regime announced by Ukraine, adviser to the Ukrainian Defense Minister Serhiy Sternenko said on his Telegram channel, APA reports.
According to him, Russia carried out a number of attacks against Ukraine despite the ceasefire.
“These steps effectively render the May 9 ceasefire announced by Vladimir Putin meaningless,” the adviser to the defense minister noted.
Recall that on May 4, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine was ready for a ceasefire starting from the night of May 6. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, however, said that Moscow continued its attacks despite this statement. According to him, during the night of May 6, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 108 drones and three missiles.
