Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi stated on Wednesday that citizens showed a "demand for stability" in the country and that the public support for the government "is unprecedented and impossible to ignore," APA reports citing Baha Breaking News.
Delivering a speech before the Senate, he openly asked Italian parliamentary parties whether they are "ready to rebuild" the agreement that had formed the government he is leading and stressed that they will have to answer to "all Italians," according to Associated Press.
Senators are expected to cast votes about his speech later in the day. Draghi offered to resign last week after the Five Star Movement boycotted a confidence vote in the ruling coalition.
