“The resumption of passenger train services on the Baku-Tbilisi-Baku route is of great importance for Georgia,” Director General of Georgian Railway JSC Lasha Abashidze told journalists, APA’s local bureau reports.
According to him, there is high demand for the route and a large number of tickets are being sold.
“It is gratifying that passenger trains between Tbilisi and Baku will operate on a daily basis. Successful work was carried out jointly with our Azerbaijani colleagues to resume the services,” Abashidze added.
