Heavy snow has caused disruptions in several regions of Georgia, APA's Tbilisi correspondent reports.
The snow, especially in the western regions of the country, has damaged the roofs of houses and closed international roads.
Due to the heavy snow cover, the roof of the main entrance of Batumi International Airport collapsed. It is reported that no one was injured in the incident. However, flights from the airport have been postponed due to severe weather conditions.
In the Ozurgeti municipality, it has been reported that a middle-aged man died after falling.
Due to the snow, traffic has been restricted on several international highways in the Georgia-Russia and Georgia-Türkiye directions.
