The Georgian government considers the report prepared by the OSCE mission on the country within the framework of the “Moscow Mechanism” to be biased, said Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze during a briefing, APA’s local bureau reports.

According to him, the report was prepared based on political interests, does not meet the minimum standards of objectivity, and therefore does not reflect the situation in Georgia.

Kobakhidze emphasized that the Georgian government does not intend to take into account the OSCE’s recommendations.

Note that the “Moscow Mechanism” was activated in January this year by 24 OSCE member states. The report published last week by the expert mission that visited Georgia reflects the events that took place in the country since the spring of 2024 and includes recommendations and demands. The document was not supported by 32 of the 57 OSCE member states.
