The global corruption index published by Transparency International once again confirms Brussels' hypocrisy and double standards, said the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, in a Facebook post, APA's Tbilisi correspondent reports.
Papuaashvili emphasized that while some European officials try to portray that there is regression in Georgia, the facts show otherwise.
"Georgia outperforms seven EU member states and 11 NATO member countries. As for the EU membership candidates, guess how many we outperform? Everyone. Brussels' refusal to start negotiations with Georgia is not only injustice but also clearly bears signs of political revenge," Papuashvili wrote.
