Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Chikovani has received his Armenian counterpart Suren Papikyan, who is on an official visit to the country, APA's local bureau reports, citing Georgia’s Ministry of Defense.
Bilateral and regional cooperation in the defense sphere was discussed during the meeting.
One of the key topics of the discussion was the current security environment and challenges in the region. The ministers reaffirmed their readiness to ensure and strengthen peace.
The sides also reviewed the directions envisaged in the bilateral cooperation plan for 2026.
