French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot in an interview with the Liberation newspaper said that Iran must make some concessions to Washington to prevent US military intervention, APA reports.
The minister noted that the United States has prepared for a possible military operation against Iran.
"In parallel, they have offered the regime negotiations. The regime must take advantage of this, make significant concessions and radically change its position," the French Foreign Minister said.
Barrot added that Iran "must stop being a threat to its neighbors in the region and to France's security interests, and the Iranian people must reclaim their freedom."
