The former Prime Minister of Georgia, leader of Gakharia for Georgia party Giorgi Gakharia and their teammate Elguja Khokrishvili were met by a “pre-organized ‘special group'” at the airport upon their return to Tbilisi from the Munich Security Conference, the party said, APA reports citing Georgian Public Broadcaster.
As the party’s press service stated, insulting shouts were heard directed at Gakharia and Khokrishvili.
“Today, at dawn, upon returning to Georgia from the Munich Security Conference, Ivanishvili arranged for a pre-organized, pre-prepared partisan special group to meet the Gakharia for Georgia party chairman Giorgi Gakharia and our teammate, former ambassador to Germany Elguja Khokrishvili at Tbilisi International Airport. The police present at the scene, who were also pre-warned, aided them through complete inaction."
