Officials in southern Poland say rescuers have found the bodies of four victims and are looking for four missing people after a gas explosion destroyed a house, APA reports citing ABC News.
Silesia provincial Gov. Jaroslaw Wieczorek says the bodies of four people, including a child, have been found early Thursday in the debris of a house that collapsed in the explosion in the southern mountain resort of Szczyrk.
Earlier firefighters said that nine members of two families lived in the three-story house. One person was not at home at the time of the explosion Wednesday evening.
A suspected cause is a leak from a local gas pipeline during works.
