Romanian tries to set fire to himself outside the European Court

Strasbourg. Fuad Gulubeyli–APA. An incident took place outside the European Court of Human Rights is Strasbourg on Wednesday. A man tried to set fire to himself outside the court, APA European bureau reports. The German citizen of Romanian origin doused himself in petrol trying to set fire. Police could prevent the suicide, reportedly attempted in protest at the court’s failure to-date to hear his claim against Germany.
