Albania and Croatia are invited to NATO, Ukraine and Georgia to be reviewed later

NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer after the three-time postponed press conference on Thursday announced the official invitation of Albania and Croatia to NATO. He said Macedonia should wait a while. “There is no time limitation for the Macedonia’s NATO membershipâ€. The Secretary General said Macedonia would be invited after the solution of disagreement with Greece, which was demanding to change the Macedonia’s name.
Jaap de Hoop Scheffer announced that Georgia and Ukraine had not been invited to the Membership Action Plan either. This issue will be reviewed in December.
