Serbia likely to freeze relations with European Union

Official Belgrade intends to break off relations with the European Union completely. APA reports that the related bill has already been submitted to Serbian Parliament. The bill prepared by nationalist Radical Party is supported by Prime Minister Vojislav Koshtunitsa and Serbian Socialist Party. Leader of Serbian Democratic Party, President Boris Tadic protested against the bill and called on his supporters to vote against the bill. The authors of the bill demand the EU members to abolish the decision on recognizing Kosovo’s independence. The Parliament is expected to discuss the bill within ten days.
