APA reports that the main priorities of Denmark during its 6-month presidency will be the strengthening of financial discipline of member countries, combating the existing financial crisis, stimulating the economic development. The other important tasks of Denmark will be the decreasing the unemployment level, taking steps towards the settlement of problems of ageing of population, competitive recovery of the EU on a global basis and increasing of volume of investments in the projects on the renewable energy sources. The main priorities of Denmark in integration sphere will be the strengthening of democratic values and prevention of radicalization.
Denmark will take over OSCE Chairmanship from Poland.
