The two Israeli businessmen were convicted in March. Fuchs and Frenkel were sentenced to six and a half and seven years respectively for attempting to bribe a Finance Ministry official in Georgia. Moreover, the court ruled they pay a 100,000 lari fine ($60,000) and a 500,000 lari ($295,000) fine to the Georgian government.
