Baku – APA. Turkish warplanes launched air strikes on PKK terrorist organization’s positions in northern Iraq. According to APA, 5 police officers were killed in PKK attack in Bitlis province of Turkey on October 18. PKK terrorists killed 24 soldiers of Turkish army in Hakkari province last night. Chief of Turkish General Staff General Necdet Ozel and other defense officials visited the site. Turkish air forces were ordered to strike on PKK positions in northern Iraq. Turkish forces launched air and artillery strikes on PKK positions in northern Iraq.
